The teachers at SSUP are excellent teachers who can provide bilingual education

Our teachers are not just foreign teachers who can speak English.

They are teachers who meet the 10 criteria for bilingual education, receive regular training from SSUP, and have a passion and enthusiasm for guiding students to speak English and become bilingual.

Being bilingual oneself
Having a high level of English proficiency, close to that of a native speaker
Having a clear and easy-to-understand accent

Profile

Teaching qualifications:

Graduated from the Education department
TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages)
TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language)
Completed online teaching trainings

Teaching experience:

Taught children from China, Korea, Vietnam, Japan, and other countries for 5 years.
Has extensive experience teaching not only English, but also subjects such as math and science, particularly for preschoolers and elementary school students.

What kind of teacher is Teacher Zara?

She is a very sincere teacher who is passionate about children and education.

During her interview, when I mentioned that we also support the growth of our teachers, she told with tears, “I want to become a good teacher.”

After the class, she spends hours discussing and reflecting on how she can improve her teaching.

She is hard-working, but doesn’t try to fit them into her teaching style because she considers the individual needs of her students.

I love to travel and do so many things. I’ve been to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hongkong and Japan. Yes, I really love traveling and I also love climbing mountains. I love outdoor activities, so I’ve been to different places and have been able to climb the highest peak in the Philippines. Have you been to any mountains before? I hope you do so.
Well, of course, I have different hobbies as well. I love playing games and baking. I also read books and I have a bunch of books with me. Lastly, I love drawing. Do you like drawing as well? It’s fun right? You can do so many things and learning different things is really fun if you enjoy what you are doing.

What kind of teacher is Teacher Hapi?

Teacher Hapi is a teacher who naturally brings smiles to children’s faces.

I have seen many times how the children in her class become more talkative and smile more often.

She always thinks about the best way to interact with each child, and is quick to notice even small changes in their behavior and lead them in the right direction.

She is also a very reliable teacher who can be tough when necessary for the sake of the children.

Experienced teaching science and culture to local children as a volunteer
Experienced teaching basic subjects to middle and high school students
Served as the responsible leader for the learning environment in a university dormitory
